My Compositions
As a composer, I am passionate about writing for a diverse array of instruments and ensembles, with a particular focus on chamber music. Drawing on my expertise as a woodwind multi-instrumentalist, I often create works for less common combinations, such as my flute septet, Shared Connection (scored entirely for C flutes to maximize accessibility).
My catalog includes works that highlight the unique colors of low clarinets, such as trios for contra-alto and contrabass clarinet, duets, and a wealth of other music covering virtually the entire woodwind family. I describe my compositional style as a combination of neo-baroque elements, often employing moments of "usefully dissonant" harmony.
